Women working together can make a difference. Working together our voices are heard on issues that are important to women, families and community – protecting and promoting women’s rights, advocating for, listening to and supporting those who are not being heard, ensuring they are taken seriously and their rights are respected.
Women today are facing many challenges, as women’s groups brace for funding cuts, and gender issues are mentioned far less frequently. We are at a critical time in advocating for equality for so many excluded women, locally and worldwide! Let’s stand up and make a difference!
It is with great honour, the council stands amongst our members, federates and network of organizations who advocate for welfare of Winnipeg women, children and community. As we gather this year, and reflect on past, present, and future, we are proud to be heart of activism in our city.
Please save the date on February 26th, 2026, 825 Sherbrook Street, Manitoba at 6:30pm, as we are partnering with our federate “Women Healing with Change” . We want to bring together different generations of feminists for a meaningful dialogue. Please stay tune, watch out for further details in the upcoming new year!
Warm Regards
